This project was very unique and fun. The website would be accessed by new vendors and was to be responsive. The brief called for a fun and “run happy” feeling for the site to entice and inform vendors on what would be available and expected by Brooks. The main challenge of getting the complete site live from concept to end within a few weeks provided many obstacles, that were fun to problems solve.
Working with the developer we created a fun look at the company. I designed and created an environment where once you logged-in; the day would turn to night and the excitement would begin.
A series of t-shirt designs for Brooks Running to be sold during at the Rock 'n Roll Marathon.
A unique challenge to these shirts, was that they would not irratate the runners wearing them as they ran in them. The shirts were also all limited to a 3 color screen print.

I was able to get involved in the creation of some of the T-shirts for Brooks Running. One fantastic thing is I really got to dig into some serious vectors for these projects. With my love of vectors this was an extra treat for me.
Most of these shirts were concepted and collaborated with their copywriter and myself. We created a design that went along with the shirts location, event, and something people wouldn’t be ashamed to wear on the regular.
Another unique challenge to these shirts, was that they would not irratate the runners wearing them as they ran in them. The shirts were also all limited to a 3 color screen print.
When creating this project for Sarena and Richard Webb we went over many concepts and thoroughly discussed what they wanted to come through with this project. In the end they decided they wanted to do an overall east meets west theme with the style keeping a slightly whimsical feeling and staying clean and elegant. I developed the concept of overlapping the eastern and western style tea cups as their overall theme for their two color print.
I was super excited to see these letterpress invites be developed. I had major fun going to press checks at a local letterpress printer and seeing the two color prints come to life with the impressions on the 600 gsm cotton cover stock cards.
This full brand project was an exciting one. I had to approach it with a dual language in mind, as it would be viewed by both English and Chinese people. The company Ehm Sphere is a multi-media production start up business.
The idea for the logo was a combination of audio and video tech. It is a representation of a reel to reel with a modern twist. It is to communicate the companies audio/video origins and its infinite possabilities.
Dealing with a foriegn language, printer, and audience was a unique challenge that I enjoyed to the end.
One project was a Running Event key card. Following the theme of noodles and a tag line of carb happy I developed a typographic key card for a running event for a Brooks Running Booth.
I created a T-shirt design and its corresponding special event poster. I was happy to use my creativity and thought of combining two different concepts into one coherent design.
While working for GeekGirlCon I was required to develop many graphics for them. Especially ones relating to their special events and I would need to translate these graphics for both print and web.
Most of these special events would be single use, but others like the TV Dinner Nights would need to be used multiple times. So I developed the e-template that could easily be changed as necessary.
Marafon from Russian Sound Mafia contacted me and wanted a promotional event flyer. We discussed that he wanted a representation of his hard house style music, while seeming very fun at the same time. We came up with the idea that if sound were a weapons, and if Fisherprice made guns, then they would make weapons like these.
When starting this project, I was very excited to create this label. The cause behind this project was a good one and so I eagerly started this project.
I am displaying several designs that were created for this project. Showing the chosen label and a few labels that I thought would have also made a great label.
I have highlighted a few logos that I have done.
01. Events by Westin - Westin wanted a logo for their special events catering company that would be targeted towards a young party demographic.
02. Interesting Food Group - A corporation that analyzed and invested in food companies.
03. Feng Ming Chao - A music production company that produced indie pop Beijing musicians.
04. Cytozyme - This biotech company wanted to represent its bioengineering in producing better soil for crops.
05 Tree Frog Studio - A photography studio that produces fluid 360 product photography.
A short illustrated book that plays with illustration and perspective. The idea is creating a children's story style out of an adult story. Then creating installtions that would be viewed in a physical space.
